Paris treats itself against Baskonia
AND THAT MAKES THREE! Paris Basketball secured its third consecutive EuroLeague victory after beating Baskonia 105-87 on Wednesday evening at the adidas arena.
Paris continues to delight its fans. From their third place position, our Parisians hosted Baskonia on Wednesday for the fourth day of EuroLeague action. Historically spectacular, this matchup between two incredible offences once again gave us a tremendous show.
Although bottom of the EuroLeague table, the Basques arrived in the capital on the back of a comeback victory against Real Madrid. Francesco Tabellini’s men were therefore clear favourites. In front of a raucous KOP Parisii crowd, our Parisians wasted no time in pulling away. But at half-time, there were only two possessions separating the two teams.
But our players are not the best rebounders in the EuroLeague for nothing. While Derek Willis’ teammates, with 10 rebounds in less than 20 minutes, continued to increase the intensity, the Basques began to run out of steam. Justin Robinson scored 21 points on his return from injury, Nadir Hifi set his EuroLeague scoring record (29), and Paris surpassed the famous 100-point mark.
With three home games this week, Paris Basketball is hoping to recapture that unique fervour on Sunday against Dijon. So order tickets now now for the Indian Game.
