Paris shows no mercy against Chalon

Unbeatable defensively and on fire offensively, Paris Basketball defeated Élan Sportif Châlonnais 67-107 away from home on the fifth day of Betclic ELITE.

The best defence in the league struck again! On Sunday at 7 p.m., Paris Basketball played the top 5 of Betclic ELITE at the Colisée. Against Élan Sportif Châlonnais, tied in the standings, the second-placed team in the EuroLeague quickly killed the suspense.

On both sides of the court, our Parisians gave the home team no chance in the first half. Without the ball, Coach Francesco Tabellini’s men racked up interceptions (9) and rebounds (21), while holding their opponents to 0/9 from behind the arc. And with that, Paris shot 8/15, allowing them to pass the 50-point mark in less than… 18 minutes!

Far from satisfied with this +31 lead at the break (27-58), our players continued to accelerate. Nadir Hifi went on a tear in the third quarter, while Léopold Cavalière broke his Paris Basketball scoring record with 20 points. The final score was decisive: 67-107.
