Herrera: ‘Helping the team to win’

Newly appointed captain Seba Herrera spoke about his new role at Paris Basketball after the 97-92 victory over JDA Dijon.

MVP! Symbolising his excellent start to the season, Captain Seba finished the match against Dijon with 17 points, a rating of 20 and 3 steals. He has so far fully embraced his new responsibilities on both sides of the court :

” I’m just trying to help Paris Basketball win in any way I can. If I need to score, I try to score. If I need to stop the opposing team’s best attacker, I try to have the biggest impact to win my match-up. I think that’s important. As captain, I try to lead as much as possible. I’m one of the few players who has stayed. I know how the club works and what we want to achieve. So I try to convey that to the new players and integrate them as much as possible. “
