Hero of the game
For the first Hero of the Game of the season, the Paris Basketball Foundation, decked out in pink for the occasion, honored the Etincelle association.
In the midst of Pink October, the Paris Basketball Foundation is shining a light on the fight against cancer. Last Sunday marked the start of a new initiative by the club. At halftime during the first home game of the season, Catherine Dler, -president of Etincelle – had the opportunity to talk about her association’s initiatives in front of more than 6,000 Parisian fans.
In the wake of this pink ribbon campaign, the Paris Basketball Foundation has decided to raise awareness for a cause that affects us all. Etincelle helps patients cope with cancer during and after their illness. The association provides them with well-being and supportive care.
During her speech on the court of the adidas arena, Catherine Dler emphasized the importance of screening for everyone, but also of self-care. Etincelle offers a multitude of free workshops on this topic.
Wigs and medical tattoos, massages, salsa, art therapy, help with returning to work… There is something for everyone.

Let’s raise the colors of Pink October together through this wonderful platform that our sport represents.
