Cavalière : “I had been missing this energy.”

For its debut at the adidas arena, Paris Basketball dominated the game against Virtus Bologna (90-79). Léopold Cavalière analyzed this outstanding performance after the EuroLeague victory.

It wasn’t necessarily easy to start the season at home against the particularly ambitious Bologna players. It was a high-flying duel on Thursday, dominated by the Parisians, who were impenetrable in defense in front of a crowd that was fully behind them.

In the locker room, Léopold Cavalière spoke about the extra spirit instilled by our fans :

“Tonight (Thursday), everyone turned up. That’s also why we were in control, because we were all on the same wavelength (…) I really missed the energy of the adidas arena. It was a great pleasure to be back there, especially with a victory. And it’s also a great pleasure to see all our fans again, to sing with them at the end of the game, to have that atmosphere. We hope that more and more of them will come and that we’ll hear them even louder in the arena because it matters to us, it carries us forward !”
