This Saturday at 8:30 p.m., Paris Basketball kicks off against Gravelines-Dunkerque. It’s an opportunity to catch up with Jean-Christophe Prat and Gauthier Denis, two personalities who have left their mark on our club’s history.

10. Jean-Christophe Prat and Gauthier Denis have spent a combined total of nearly 10 seasons in the capital.

Before settling down in northern France, JC spent four years coaching Paris Basketball’s first team. After reaching the second division, the club’s first-ever head coach was one of the key figures in its promotion to the top flight.

And to reach Betclic ÉLITE, Jean-Christophe Prat was able to rely on his favorite sniper at Gravelines-Dunkerque: Gauthier Denis. Here too, the story is incredible. From playing in Elite 2, the Frenchman ended his Parisian adventure with a Leaders Cup-EuroCup double at the end of the 2023-2024 season. It should be noted that northern center Valentin Chery will also return to his former club after playing there for three seasons (2018 to 2021).
