Paris falls in the semifinals
Despite a crazy comeback at the end of the game, our Parisians lost 90-87 to Le Mans in this first-ever LNB Super Cup semifinal.
It was a decisive start to the playoffs. This Saturday at 7 p.m., Paris Basketball had its first official competition match of the 2025-2026 season. AND WHAT A MATCH!!! This semifinal gave us a magnificent basketball game with a breathtaking finish.
Trailing by more than 15 points midway through the third quarter, Francesco Tabellini’s men gave everything they had to get back into the game. Our Parisians put up a strong defense around the basket, while on the other side of the court, our serial shooters were having a field day.
Led by Nadir Hifi in MVP mode (27 points), Paris even came back to within one possession. But Mouhamed Faye’s valuable blocks at the end of the game weren’t enough to contain Le Mans, who were on fire (48% from 3-point range). In the end, our Parisians fell just three points short of reaching the final.

While the result is frustrating, the content looks very promising for the future. Yakuba Ouattara’s teammates will be back in action on Sunday at 2 p.m. against Boulazac in the match for the podium. You can follow the game on France TV, and we’ll be sharing the best moments live on our X account.
