Paris at the foot of the podium
In a clash of champions, Paris Basketball ultimately finished just off the podium in the LNB Super Cup after losing 96-80 to Boulazac.
Defeated yesterday after a crazy money time against Le Mans, our Parisians played the match for third place on Sunday at 2 p.m. It was a duel between the national champion and the Elite 2 champion.
Building on Saturday’s finish, Paris Basketball quickly pulled ahead. Dominating the rebounds and incisive on fast breaks, Francesco Tabellini’s men gave their opponents no chance throughout the first half.
But after the break, the tide turned. Although our duo Hifi and Robinson finished the game with 38 points, Boulazac, led by an XXL Jacob Grandison, made a decisive run at the start of the fourth quarter. It was a 13-0 run that our Parisians were unable to overcome.

These two defeats over the weekend are frustrating, but they will serve as a basis for the entire professional staff to work on.
Next goal: to approach the first official away game of the season in Gravelines-Dunkerque for the first day of Betclic ÉLITE with confidence.
