Moungalla opens his account

A star player from our training center, Ilian Moungalla scored his very first professional point on Sunday against Boulazac.

Amidst a 96-80 defeat in the LNB Super Cup podium match, Ilian Moungalla distinguished himself with 10 minutes of play at Roland Garros.

Coming on at 2:28 in the first quarter to replace Nadir Hifi, the Montpellier native quickly made his mark. On his first drive to the basket at Roland-Garros, the point guard drew a foul from Grandison. From the free-throw line, Ilian held his nerve and scored his first ever point as a professional.

At just 17 years old, our rookie is starting the 2025-2026 season with personality.
