Like Nadir Hifi, Ismaël Bako will also be participating in EuroBasket 2025. A key player in the Belgian national team, our new recruit will undoubtedly be keen to shine in his debut in the competition against France this Thursday (5 p.m.).

Paris Basketball will definitely be coming on strong at the Euro. After Nadir Hifi’s last-minute selection following Matthew Strazel’s injury, Belgian coach Dario Gjergja announced—unsurprisingly—the selection of our new center, Ismaël Bako.

Standing at 6’10”, the Leuven native will bring his height to the Red Devils’ paint. Faced with numerous withdrawals from the Belgian squad, Ismaël Bako, 29, is taking on a new role. But already a key player in an international team with high ambitions, he is ready to take on this new continental challenge.

Arriving from UNICS Kazan (Russia), our center will immediately challenge Nadir Hifi’s Bleus on Thursday. It will be an all-Parisian matchup, a first in the club’s history for such an international competition.
