Mouhamed Faye Built for Paris
A rising star of African basketball, Mouhamed Faye is about to take a major step forward in his young career. The Senegalese center (20 years old, 2.09m) has officially joined Paris Basketball, where he will get his first taste of the EuroLeague.
At just 20 years of age, the Dakar native is set to experience the thrill of Europe’s top basketball competition. Despite his youth, the 2.09-meter center brings with him an impressive first taste of European basketball, having played in the Basketball Champions League with Reggio Emilia, who finished seventh in last season’s Lega A, Italy’s top division.
Faye turned professional at just 16 and is regarded by many analysts as a potential pick for the upcoming NBA draft. He was named the best shot-blocker in the Italian league for the second year in a row and ranks as the sixth-best rebounder — clear signs of a tremendous talent Paris hopes to develop.
Welcome to the Paris Basketball family, Mouhamed !
