Paris Secures Their Ticket to the Final !

After a sensational match, Paris Basketball clinched victory on JL Bourg’s court (93-103) and officially qualified for the championship final for the second time in the club’s history !

IN THE FINAL ! In a third game marked by extreme intensity, Paris Basketball made the difference in the closing moments to snatch a win against JL Bourg. It was a fierce battle from start to finish. In the first half, our Parisians started strong. Thanks to two major three-pointers from TJ Shorts (27 points) and Mikael Jantunen, Tiago Splitter’s men took the lead early on, but the home team held their ground. Driven by their crowd, JL Bourg managed to take back the lead, but our numerous high-level offensive and defensive plays kept us in the game. And with TJ Shorts in full “MVP mode,” scoring 16 points by halftime, our Parisians trailed by just four points at the break (Halftime: 52–56).

Coming back from the locker room, it was déjà vu. Fueled by our long-range accuracy, our players caught up and even took the lead after a crazy three-pointer from Nadir Hifi (19 points), who has a knack for the spectacular. What followed was a true boxing match. For nearly seven minutes, neither team could pull ahead. As the final 10 minutes began, the teams were tied (30’: 75–75). That’s when our Parisians kicked into high gear. Driven by their energy and aggressiveness, Tiago Splitter’s men blew the Bressans away with a massive 26–12 run over seven minutes. A run that sealed the game and sent us straight to the French Championship Final for the second year in a row!

Now, we wait to see whether we’ll face ASVEL or AS Monaco starting June 15.
