JL Bourg, the Final Hurdle Before the Championship Game

After a stellar performance last Saturday that secured their spot in the semifinals, Paris Basketball is now set to face JL Bourg in a battle for a place in the final. This series is already shaping up to be a thrilling one.

In the end, only one team will be left standing. After a grueling quarterfinal series against JDA Dijon, Paris Basketball kept their championship dreams alive with an exceptional showing last weekend. Now in the semifinals, a new challenge awaits: JL Bourg. Fifth in the regular season with a record of 18 wins and 12 losses, the team from Ekinox arrives at the adidas arena for Game 1 full of confidence. Proof of this: Bourg has won 4 of their last 5 league games. More impressively, in the previous round, Frédéric Fauthoux’s men were the only team to complete a sweep, defeating Cholet without dropping a single game. As a result, they’ve had nearly a full week to rest and prepare for this clash—but they will be without their leader, Xavier Castaneda, who has been sidelined with an injury since February.

On our side, morale is high. Energized by our dominant qualification against a valiant Dijon squad, our players are already focused on their next goal. The only dark cloud: Collin Malcolm’s calf injury, which will keep him out for the remainder of the playoffs. A significant loss that our team will need to overcome in order to punch their ticket to the final—and potentially achieve back-to-back titles. This best-of-five series promises to be nothing short of electrifying !

To kick off this semifinal the right way, Tiago Splitter’s squad will need your support to take the lead this Wednesday ! So don’t wait—grab your tickets now !

Come to the next meeting and support us!
