The Commitment of Crédit Agricole and the Paris Basketball Foundation

True to its mission as a local cooperative bank, Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France places youth at the heart of its commitments. In this spirit, the 9 local branches of Paris and Oise are actively supporting the endowment fund of Paris Basketball, launched in 2024. This fund aims to support young basketball players aged 15 to 21 in a program that combines athletic training, personal development, and professional integration.

This partnership has already made sports more accessible to a wider audience.
On May 15, young people from partner associations of Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France—such as Cop1, Paname Symphonie Orchestra, and the Red Cross—had the opportunity to attend a Paris Basketball game. On May 27, it was the turn of member clients and employees to share a powerful moment during a second match at the Adidas Arena. These events were made possible thanks to the “centime sociétaire” (member’s penny) initiative of Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France’s local branches.

This support is part of Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France’s broader commitment to youth, illustrated in particular by :

  • Specific banking offers for young people,
  • The “Globe-Trotter Place” platform to support youth mobility,
  • The “Jeunes d’Avenirs Recrut’” initiative to promote professional integration,
  • Support for engaged associations such as Cop1, Linkee, etc.,
  • And the “Reveal Your Talent” contest, which highlights the creativity of young people in the Île-de-France region.

Through these concrete actions, Crédit Agricole d’Ile-de-France and the Paris Basketball Foundation reaffirm their shared ambition to be committed players alongside the younger generation and to help shape their future.

Come to the next meeting and support us!
