Paris Secures Its Spot in the Semi-Finals

After a game marked by exceptional three-point shooting, Paris Basketball defeated JDA Dijon (114-88) and advances to the semi-finals to face JL Bourg.

ON TO THE NEXT ONE ! In what was a spectacular performance, Paris Basketball officially qualifies for the Betclic ELITE semi-finals. Everything went perfectly for the Parisians. Right from the start, Tiago Splitter’s men ramped up the intensity and went straight at Dijon. Fueled by their aggressiveness, our players caught fire and delivered a three-point shooting clinic, led by a sensational Nadir Hifi acting as the maestro (26 points, 7/15 from beyond the arc), and a standout performance from Tyson Ward, who hit a crazy 11-meter buzzer-beater. Stunned, Dijon struggled as the gap kept widening throughout the first half. By halftime, Paris was comfortably ahead by 31 points (20′, 63-32).

After the break, Paris didn’t let up. Fired up by the occasion, TJ Shorts and his teammates continued their mission of “destruction,” suffocating JDA Dijon, who tried—unsuccessfully—to get back into the game. But that was without counting on a ruthless Nadir Hifi, who nailed a signature step-back to bury Dijon midway through the third quarter. Up by 31 with ten minutes left, the performance was flawless. And to finish in style, who else but Yakuba Ouattara—outstanding throughout—who set his personal scoring record in our colors in this decisive match (20 points, 75% shooting). Thanks to this dominant victory, Paris Basketball clinches its spot in the semi-finals and will face JL Bourg starting Wednesday !
