Splitter: “Proud of My Players”
After the win over Alba Berlin in Paris’ final home game of the regular season, Tiago Splitter reflected on the work done by his players, while staying focused on what’s next.
Tiago Splitter, Head Coach of Paris Basketball:
“I don’t think it was our best game of the season, but the guys did their job. We got the win. Now we wait for Friday’s results to see what happens in the standings.
It’s been a long and tough season. We’ve won a lot of games, we’ve been through tough moments, dealt with injuries… Tonight, only 10 players were available, but we’re happy to think that we could finish in 6th place. It’s the end of a first part of the season that was long, complicated—but successful.
I’m proud of the competitive spirit of my players. We fought from the very first pre-season practice to the last game, without ever giving up. I’m really proud of them.”
