Paris Exits the EuroLeague with Heads Held (Very) High

After an absolutely thrilling match, our Parisians fell in the final moments against Fenerbahçe (88–98). A loss that brings an end to our exceptional debut season in the EuroLeague.

No one expected us here, yet our Parisians managed to achieve the unthinkable. In our very first EuroLeague season, Tiago Splitter’s men pulled off the feat of reaching the playoffs. Unfortunately, our European journey ends tonight following our loss in Game 3 of the EuroLeague quarterfinals against the experienced Fenerbahçe side (88–98). It was a truly remarkable game from start to finish.

In the first half, our Parisians fed off the electric atmosphere at the adidas arena to start the game strong, led by a “MVP-mode” TJ Shorts (29 points, 4 assists). Meanwhile, key defensive stops orchestrated by Sebastian Herrera and Nadir Hifi’s sharpshooting from beyond the arc helped keep us close to the Turkish side at halftime (HT, 40–46).

After the break, our team stepped up a gear. Energized by the crowd, our Parisians delivered a top-level third quarter, with an explosive Shorts-Hifi duo bringing us right back into the game (30’, 61–63). Then, in the final moments, things got wild. Down by 7 with just two minutes left, our players dug deep and managed to claw their way back, forcing overtime through sheer willpower.

But sadly, the extra five minutes took their toll. Against the seasoned Turkish squad, our players gave everything on the court but couldn’t hold back the final surge. Our European adventure thus ends this Tuesday, after 37 dreamlike games. From the first match to the last, Tiago Splitter and his squad gave everything to proudly represent Paris Basketball across the continent. So, for this entire European season: THANK YOU !

Now, it’s on to what’s next, with our upcoming league game against CSP Limoges this Sunday, before returning to the adidas arena on May 10th to face Le Portel. We’re counting on all of you to come out in force and cheer our players to victory — so get your tickets here !

Come to the next meeting and support us!
