Malcolm: “Finish 6th in the EuroLeague”
After a hard-fought game against Le Mans (106-103) this Sunday at the Adidas Arena, Collin Malcolm spoke in the press conference about the team’s collective performance and the upcoming games.
Collin Malcolm, forward for Paris Basketball:
“We won the rebounding battle. Whether you’re playing in the French league or in the EuroLeague, you have to rip those rebounds out of your opponent’s hands. If you win that battle, your chances of winning the game go way up. We were shaken up in the first half, but we woke up in the second. And we were lucky to have a huge game from TJ Shorts. I’ve been playing with him for three years now, and honestly, I’m not even surprised when he puts up performances like this anymore (laughs). He gives us a lot of confidence — he’s a real leader.”
“Now, we’re focused on the EuroLeague. If you ask me, I want to finish sixth (laughs)! It’s still possible, even if it’s going to be tough. But we’re going to go all in. And if we finish 7th or 8th, even if we lose our first play-in game, we’ll still get a second chance.”
