Paris Dominates Saint-Quentin
Our Paris Basketball players secured their fifth consecutive victory against Saint-Quentin (97-65) before kicking off a huge week of competition.
Paris goes 5/5! On the court at SQBB, our Parisians won decisively to prepare in the best possible way for another big week ahead. With a fifth straight win, Tiago Splitter’s players finish a second consecutive week without defeat.
From the start, the capital’s players found their shooting rhythm and variation in their play. Kevarrius Hayes quickly became aggressive, and Nadir Hifi began his performance right after coming off the bench. With strong defense, they set up fast breaks and took the lead early (25-22). Before halftime, Nadir continued to heat up, while Tyson Ward dunked emphatically off a great pass from T.J. Shorts, widening the gap at halftime (45-36).
After the break, Bandja Sy’s teammates intensified their efforts. Léopold Cavalière followed Nadir’s lead, hitting long-range shots, Enzo Shahrvin dunked with both hands, and the lead grew to over 20 points before the final 10 minutes (77-52).
To close out the game, the ball continued to move, and all 11 players on the court celebrated scoring at least one basket. Our captain Michael Kessens also hit a three-pointer to cap off this big win (97-65).
Nadir set a new season-high with 29 points (6/9 from three), while T.J. matched his career-high in assists with 13 dishes.
Now, the team is preparing for a busy week with the reception of Zalgiris Kaunas on Wednesday, followed by a trip to Barcelona and a home game against SIG Strasbourg.
