Paris in Portel for a record!
Already assured of second place in the championship, our players travel to Le Portel this Saturday in a bid to beat Limoges’ record from the 1989/1990 season!

Records are made to be broken. In this already historic season, punctuated by the first two titles in the club’s history, Paris still wants to blacken its name in a record book: the number of consecutive victories in a single season in all competitions. Against Roanne last week, it was equalled (24 consecutive wins). Against Le Portel, it could be beaten. But it won’t be an easy task.
Le Portel wants to finish well at home
Having qualified for the Betclic Elite playoffs for the second time in their history, the Nordistes are looking to end their season with a prestigious victory. Winners of just one of their last four games, Le Portel’s iconic coach Éric Girard’s men are aiming to stay in 6th place, so as not to have to face the two ogres that are Monaco and… Paris Basketball.
Nadir returns to the Chaudron
On Saturday, there’s bound to be one man in the match. It’s obviously the Prince of Paris, Nadir Hifi. A transfer from Le Portel at the start of the season, the now French international will be welcomed back to the Chaudron by 3,500 fans. As a reminder, the last time Nadir met Paris, he scored a career-best 39 points. Bis repetita with Paris before the start of the playoffs? As a reminder, the first playoff game takes place on May 15 at the adidas arena (where we’re still unbeaten!).
