Paris Basketball celebrates the Africa Game
This Wednesday, Paris Basketball is proud to announce the special “Africa Game” to be held on April 24 in conjunction with the match against Cholet. Much more than just a sporting event, the game will be an opportunity for the entire Paris community to celebrate African culture at the adidas arena.
This Wednesday, the forecourt will host a foodtruck offering African flavours, creating a festive atmosphere from the moment our spectators enter. The African influence will also be palpable in the DJ’s musical selection and the dance troupe’s performances throughout the match.
In addition, the event will serve as a platform to highlight humanitarian, social and societal initiatives such as the “Zéro Palu” association, committed to the fight against malaria.
We will also have the honor of organizing a conference/round table focusing on sport in Africa, offering an enriching perspective on the challenges and successes of African athletes.
The highlight of the event will be the collaboration between Paris Basketball and Giants of Africa. This association will be showcased throughout the game. Our speakers will be wearing Giants of Africa outfits.
An exclusive sale of Giants of Africa t-shirts will also be on offer in our three pop-up stores.
Last but not least, the club will be offering a half-time performance by artist James BKS and his dancers.
We invite you to join Paris Basketball for an evening of sport and culture, celebrating the union of basketball and African heritage.
