ESSEC Business School, new partner of Paris Basketball

Paris Basketball is proud to announce a strategic collaboration with ESSEC Business School’s Sports Chair, extending over the next four seasons. This partnership illustrates a shared commitment to excellence, continuous improvement of training and a joint vision of equity and inclusion.

At the heart of both teaching and innovation, ESSEC Business School and Paris Basketball share a pioneering desire to – always – create in order to anticipate everyday challenges.

Paris Basketball, recently crowned European EuroCup champions, and ESSEC, an institution renowned for its academic excellence for over a century, are joining forces to set a standard of excellence in the fields of sport and education. This collaboration embodies the aspirations of a young club joining forces with a historic institution to strengthen its territorial roots.

Statement from David Kahn, President of Paris Basketball : “We are delighted to partner with ESSEC because of its commitment to education and the economics of sport in Greater Paris. We have many ways in which we can help each other over the next few years, and we’ll be starting to do so immediately”.

The partnership was officially launched in early April at ESSEC’s annual partners’ meeting at the adidas arena, in the presence of Mathias Priez, the club’s general manager, and Collin Malcolm, a professional player. As part of the partnership, Paris Basketball will work with students from ESSEC’s Sports Chair each season on strategic projects focusing on innovative themes.

Statement from Vincenzo Vinzi, President and Dean of ESSEC Business School: “Paris Basketball’s remarkable success and commitment to excellence, both on and off the court, fits perfectly with ESSEC’s culture and the Sports Chair’s mission to train the next generation of sports industry leaders. This partnership will also enrich the experiential learning opportunities available to our students”.

The club thus joins the circle of entities that are part of this Chair: the FFBB, PSG, but also Allianz, EDF and Sport dans la Ville.
