Mission Europe: 7/7 confirmed
On the road in Badalona (3 wins for as many defeats before the interval), Paris Basketball wins and continues its European epic unbeaten (101-94).
Paris had its moments, but Paris emerged victorious from the battle. Tied (23-23) at the end of the first quarter, our players put their heads together with defense and control in transition and went into the locker room with a 10-point lead (50-40). Nadir Hifi finished top scorer for the first 20 minutes with 15 points.
An irrespirable 2nd half and extra time!
Parisians and Catalans went head to head throughout the match, and the second half was suffocating. Less than 5 points apart in the last 12 minutes, every possession counted and Badalone could well have crucified Paris at the buzzer, but it was in overtime that the win was secured.
At ease defensively and clutch on the rebound, Paris took full advantage of its qualities to win by 7 points.
Nadir Hifi and the Eurocup.
20 points in London, 20 points against Tel Aviv and 27 points against Badalone, our MVP of the evening is NADIR HIFI!
The European weeks go by and Nadir’s shooting is always sharp, and he breaks his Eurocup scoring record (once again). All this accompanied by 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
