Paris struggle against MSB

Published on October 5, 2026

No points for Paris Basketball’s Espoirs side, who were defeated this Saturday in Le Mans on the second day of the league season (79 – 93).

Building on last season’s form, Paris got their Espoirs ÉLITE campaign off to a flying start in Nancy (88–72). A week later, they found themselves up against Le Mans. Constantly in contention for the Trophée du Future, our young Parisians faced a huge challenge in the heart of the Sarthe region.

However, Melvine Mbamen’s 14 points and 9 rebounds proved insufficient. Le Mans quickly took a commanding lead. Although our players won the rebounding battle and the fourth quarter, Paris Basketball left the Loire region with a defeat.

Our Parisian prospects will look to bounce back this Friday at 6.30 pm against SIG. For their first home game of the season, our supporters are in for what looks on paper to be a tight contest between two teams with similar records.
