Shahrvin : “ We played our game ”

After a standout performance on Tuesday night that was typical of Paris Basketball, Enzo Shahrvin spoke about the team’s explosive start to the quarterfinal series against SIG Strasbourg (95-64).

Paris fully lived up to its status as the reigning French champion in a match marked by a sluggish start on our part. However, our team managed to completely turn the tide and ultimately put on a spectacular performance, as our center described : “ A great game – we put on a great performance. It’s fantastic that we were able to execute what we’d prepared. Our second half really allowed us to make the difference because we played our game. We defended well, we attacked well, so naturally it was tough for them to play, and that gave us confidence. ”

According to Enzo, the game took a complete turn in the third quarter : “ During halftime, we had a good talk. We told ourselves we couldn’t let up because those little dips in performance cost us dearly at the start of the third quarter. From there on, we stepped up our game. We pushed even harder, just as the coach asked us to, and it finally paid off. ”

Nos Parisiens comptent désormais terminer une bonne fois pour toutes le travail ce jeudi au Rhénus : « On connaît Strasbourg. On sait que ce ne sera pas un match facile car ils viennent de perdre. Ils auront la dalle. Donc là on va juste bien se reposer, garder la même mentalité si ce n’est plus, aller là-bas et tout donner ! »
