Derby day against ASVEL

Published on October 7, 2026

Make way for the derby ! This Wednesday at 8.45 pm, Paris Basketball take on ASVEL in their fourth EuroLeague match. A must-see clash, set to take place in the adidas arena, which is sure to be electric.

The tension of a derby, a deep-rooted rivalry, talent and character all coming together in a clash at the very top of the continent. This is what awaits our supporters! This clash between France’s top sides looks set to be a cracker, especially given Paris’s recent run of form. As well as defeating Jonas Valančiūnas’s Žalgiris Kaunas in front of their home crowd, our players followed that up this weekend with a win against Le Mans.

In both matches, our frontcourt performed exceptionally well, in stark contrast to ASVEL. Without Mathis Dossou-Yovo, Tony Parker’s side will have to do without their first-choice centre. Despite this absence, the team remains a formidable force, led by their point guard Patty Mills. The former NBA star is coming off the back of a 26-point performance against Valencia. A spectacular battle between Nadir and Mills is set to be the highlight of the match.
