The semi-finals can begin

Let’s get the first match underway ! Paris Basketball kick off their Betclic ÉLITE semi-finals at home against Cholet this Tuesday at 8.00 pm.

The only surprise of this first round of the playoffs is heading to the capital! Despite losing the opening game of their series against ASVEL, Cholet managed to turn things around and secure victory last Saturday in overtime during Game 3 at the LDLC Arena. Although our Parisian side put up a good fight, the match turned out to be a one-sided affair.

However, a very different match-up awaits our team. Whilst SIG’s play relied on 3-4 key players supported by role players, Cholet plays a style of basketball in which responsibilities are shared on both ends of the court. To this style, typical of Iisalo’s approach, Fabrice Lefrançois has added a rock-solid defence coupled with a strong presence on the boards. We can also expect some superb individual battles between Gérald Ayayi and Nadir Hifi, or Mohamed Diarra and Allan Dokossi.
