A Message to Paris Basketball Fans
Over the past 48 hours, I’ve read two quotes — one from actor Seth Rogen, the other from Jalen Brunson—that I wanted to share with you.
Unlike us, they’ve both won awards this season: Rogen has won several for his hit series The Studio, and you know very well what Brunson has won.
“ What makes you happiest is also, at times, the most painful thing in your life. ” — Seth Rogen
Like many of you, I felt that pain on Tuesday night when we lost Game 5 of the Betclic Elite Finals. And I still feel it today.
Paris Basketball isn’t just a club. Nor is it a brand. It’s an inexhaustible source of emotions. It gets our hearts racing.
I am absolutely convinced that next season will be the best in our history.
How can I be so sure ? As Jalen Brunson said after Game 5 of the NBA Finals:
« My confidence comes from my work ethic. »
« Ma confiance en moi vient de mon éthique de travail. »
No one works harder than Paris Basketball. No one.
Since the club’s founding in July 2018, we have never stopped moving forward to build one of the leading sports and entertainment destinations in Greater Paris.
Starting next week, we will announce the names of the coaches and players — many of whom are staying with the club — for the 2026–2027 EuroLeague and BetClic Élite seasons.
On behalf of my partners and our majority owner, Eric Schwartz, I can confirm : this will be, as I’ve said, our best season yet — in every respect.
Thank you — for everything you do to make Paris Basketball unique.
