Paris kicks off its play-offs

It’s time for the play-offs ! Paris Basketball will play their first LNB quarter-final match at home against SIG Strasbourg this Tuesday at 9pm. A massive opener !

The post-season has barely begun, and our Parisians are already set for a high-stakes clash. The opening game of this best-of-three series promises to set the adidas arena alight. With a strong track record against Strasbourg, our team will carry the number one seed throughout the playoffs.

A status earned, among other things, by their excellent recent form. Since Julius Thomas took the helm, Paris has suffered just one defeat in the Betclic ÉLITE. This run has been punctuated by victories over top sides such as Monaco, Nanterre and ASVEL. Our momentum is very different from that of Strasbourg.

The post-Leaders Cup period has proved very difficult in Alsace, with just four wins in 13 matches. Even in these play-ins, SIG had to go through two rounds to qualify. The visitors will, however, be able to rely on their highly complementary trio of Keene (LNB’s top passer) – Davis Jr (LNB’s third-highest scorer) – Joseph (LNB’s top rebounder) to try and spring a surprise.
