LNB Trophies: Paris gets the vote!

Best defender, coach of the year and best player: Paris Basketball is represented everywhere!

TJ or Nadir MVP?

TJ Shorts II and Nadir Hifi are nominated in the league’s best player category. Since the start of the season, these two have been unstoppable. Whether at Carpentier, adidas arena or any other arena in France, the two playmakers have been giving defenses the runaround. The league’s two leading scorers, winners of the Leaders Cup, are up against Mike James, point guard of Roca Team, the undisputed league leader.

Coach Iisalo best coach

No surprises here, as the Finnish tactician has put everyone in agreement. The fact that Paris is so high up the table this season is undoubtedly down to the high standards set by the former Finnish international, who has been sweeping up everything in his path since last season. Last season, he won the first two trophies in the club’s history and is currently on an incredible unbeaten run of 24 games, a French all-time record. His method of working is working, and no-one expected Paris to reach such heights this season. Facing him will be Monaco coach Sasa Obradovic and the coach of newly-promoted Saint-Quentin, Julien Mahé, who achieved the feat of taking his team to the playoffs in his first season in the elite.

Tyson Ward, the surprise!

Named top 3 defensive player of the year, Tyson has shown that his defensive efficiency is unquestionable! A starter in the major 5 when he was healthy, Tuomas Iisalo trusted him because of his formidable defensive skills. He will face stiff competition from 2 Monaco players, John Brown III and Alpha Diallo.
