Thirty seconds. That’s how long JL Bourg led the game. After this first possession, Paris dominated their opponents. A 12-point lead at the end of the first quarter, 23 at the break. Paris smothered the Burgiens, who were surprised by the intensity.

A slight comeback followed, but Paris remained solid and pulled out the first act.

TJ Shorts, definitively MVP

3 minutes before kick-off, Paris celebrated the architects of its already historic season. Coach Iisalo was acclaimed for his title of coach of the tournament, before TJ Shorts made the MVPs ring out in the arena by receiving his trophy for best player.

Last night, he once again proved his worth as a key player. With 15 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals and 7 caused fouls, the Californian is more MVP than ever.

What’s next for Paris

European champions as early as Friday? That’s the ambition for our boys, who will travel to Bresse to try and bring the cup home from 7.30pm on Friday.
