Paris Basketball wins the Eurocup !
It took some hard work, but they did it! Paris Basketball players win the club’s first European trophy after only 6 years of existence!
The film of an idyllic evening
But it didn’t start so well… Faced with the Burgiens’ insolent long-range skills (7/12 3-pointers at the break), Paris stayed in touch (-3 at half-time). This gap was erased as the game wore on, thanks in particular to intense defense from the entire team.
With 1:30 remaining, Mikael Jantunen planted 2 3-pointers to give Paris a 9-point lead. The final was decided! Good defense followed, and a pass from Mikky – again – to Justin Simon: +11, and it was all over (89-81).

TJ Shorts again !
We saw him throw himself at Nadir Hifi at the final whistle, eyes watering, TJ Shorts II was presented with the Finals MVP trophy, after a solid game 1, but above all a DANTESQUE game 2: 22 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and a rating of 28, TJ continues to refine everything he touches.
What’s next for the Parisians
Celebrate and rest before the home stretch – that’s the plan!
Paris Basketball welcomes all its supporters this Saturday at 6pm at the 18th arrondissement town hall to celebrate the trophy.
The Parisians will then return to the courts on Sunday April 21 at 7pm to take on ASVEL, a direct rival in the Betclic Elite rankings.
