Iisalo voted EuroCup Coach of the Year

With an exceptional record of 20 wins from 21 matches, Paris has shone brightly on the continental stage. With the final looming on Tuesday, Tuomas Iisalo was voted EuroCup Coach of the Year on Saturday. An award that recognizes the work of an entire team.

Following the announcement of this honorary distinction, our Coach, Tuomas Iisalo was keen to react with these few words:

“It’s a great honor to receive this award, as there were several excellent candidates for the EuroCup,” says the Finnish coach. What makes me most proud is that it’s an award given for the team’s success and for exceeding expectations. I don’t see it as an individual achievement, but rather as the result of excellent teamwork at all levels. I’d like to thank the players, who did the hard work. They’re the ones who made us look good as coaches. I’d also like to thank the entire staff for working tirelessly to improve and help the players perform. The staff deserve a big thank you for creating the conditions in which players and coaches could concentrate on the essentials. Finally, I’d like to thank the entire Club and management for always supporting the team and being so flexible in responding to injuries and challenges. The team’s success is the result of everyone doing their job at a high level”.
