A winning return to Blois
After their epic victory in the Leaders Cup, Paris Basketball travelled to the Jeu de Paume de Blois on Sunday, where they faced off against a fierce opposition that saw our players win 92-88.
The match
Deprived of Malcolm, Ngouama and Shahrvin yesterday, Paris were put to the sword by a team and a crowd that gave nothing away. But once again, it was Tuomas Iisalo’s men who had the last laugh.
Leading by a point at half-time, Paris had to pull out all the stops, particularly in the money time, when, as is often the case, the team came up with the big shots, including 2 three-pointers from Justin Simon, before sealing victory in the final minute.
Player of the match
17 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals: Leaders Cup MVP TJ Shorts was back on more than solid form! Justin Simon had 16 points and 6 rebounds.
BACK LIKE WE NEVER LEFT 😈
