Paris – London : round II !

After an epic first-leg win (102-106) in double overtime at the end of October, Paris Basketball meet the London Lions again this Tuesday evening. Kick-off 8.45pm at the Halle Carpentier.

Revenge in the air?

It’s impossible to forget the outcome of the first leg, during which our players brilliantly triumphed on English soil after two fierce overtimes (102-106). Of course, our London rivals have memories of their own… So we can expect another clash between two similar sides.

Already assured of a place in the play-off phase thanks to their 11 wins in 12 EuroCup matches, Nadir Hifi’s team-mates are now looking to consolidate their top spot in Group A for this final match of the calendar year. Coach Tuomas Iisalo will be able to count on the dazzling form of TJ Shorts, who appears – according to the stats – to be the best player in the competition.

Indeed, the native Californian is the EuroCup’s top passer (7.4 assists per game on average) and top scorer (18.1 points per game on average).

This Tuesday evening, however, the London Lions will have to be wary if they are to avoid a tricky match during the festive season.
