Nicknamed “JC”, Jean-Christophe Prat is the man who took up Paris Basketball’s bold challenge in 2018. The goal was to keep the Parisian club in Pro B for its first season.

A former coach at Denain (Nord), “JC” took responsibility for the team to heart as soon as it was created. He developed an effective style of play, showcasing young talents such as Ismaël Kamagate, Juhann Begarin and Dustin Sleva.
Over the course of four exciting seasons, “JC” proved himself to be a dedicated coach, proudly wearing the colors of the capital until the club’s promotion to Betclic ELITE.
This Saturday, “Coach Prat’s” emotional reunion with the Halle Carpentier took place during the Paris Basketball – Gravelines-Dunkerque match.
Ahead of the game, the Parisian staff paid tribute to Jean-Christophe Prat by presenting him with a symbolic jersey. The shirt bears the number 154, which represents the number of matches our former coach played with Paris Basketball.
