Paris back on track
On Saturday, the Parisians resumed their winning ways with a 96-78 thrashing of Gravelines-Dunkerque. A crucial win that builds confidence after two consecutive setbacks for the capital club (Roanne and Besiktas).
Logic respected at Carpentier
After losing to Roanne in their last Betlic ELITE match, the Parisians were keen to get back to winning ways.
However, Tuomas Iisalo’s players struggled to get into their stride early on. Thanks in particular to an insolent 3-point success, the Nordistes finished the first QT ahead 29-25.
Stung in their pride, Bandja Sy’s team-mates rallied in the 2nd quarter. At the break, the score was 51-38 in favor of the home side.
The rest of the game was a long, easy ride for our players, with a 97-78 victory. This comprehensive victory consolidates Paris Basketball’s second place in the standings. A good omen for the EuroCup!
Coach Tuomas’ protégés will now prepare for their trip to Lithuania to face Cedevita Olimpija Ljubljana.
