Diawara loaned to Poitiers until the end of the season

On Wednesday, Paris Basketball officially announced that it had reached an agreement with Poitiers Basket 86 (PRO B) to sign Mohamed Diawara on loan until the end of the season.

A young talent from the Paris Basketball project, Mohamed Diawara will be heading for Poitiers in the next few hours.

The Parisian-born player is keen to get more playing time, with a view to progressing his career, and will now be able to sharpen his skills and play more games in a PRO B league that is now revealing the best talents in French basketball.

Within the Poitevin team, “Mo'” is bound to play a major role.

Mohamed Diawara, a real promise for French basketball, will be able to return to Paris even stronger in a few months’ time.

The whole Club wishes him every success in his new project with the Poitevin team.

Mo’ had a very good pre-season with us, but unfortunately he was injured at one point, which affected his pace. Then Mo and his representatives felt that a loan would be the best decision for him so that the player could benefit from more playing time. Even though we’re currently struggling with injuries, we’ve accepted their wish. Now we’re hoping he can stay fit and continue to progress in the second half of the season,” explained Finnish coach Tuomas Iisalo.
