From Cholet’s Espoirs to the NCAA
Sunday is bound to be a special moment for our pivot. Almost ten years after leaving Cholet, Michael Kessens will be reunited with the club he played for before heading off to the USA to try his luck in the NCAA.
During his time with Cholet, Michael Kessens won back-to-back Pro A U23 titles (2009 and 2010).
The Parisian pivot now plays a key role in Coach Tuomas Iisalo’s squad, having met him during his time in Bonn (Germany).
Having put in a remarkable performance against Tel-Aviv (114-87) on Wednesday evening, including a 100% success rate (6 points in 13 minutes of play), the Geneva native will be keen to shine against his former club.
