Hifi: “We’re still thinking about it”

Man of the game after his victory in the Ile-de-France derby, Nadir Hifi spoke after the game about the style of play that the Paris Basketball coach wants to install:

“It’s an important phase in my career to see how I react in all aspects. Whether it’s recovery, the accumulation of games, the impact I make on the court, there are so many aspects (…) The coach told me it would take me 3-4 months to get used to our system. I thought it would take a little less. But so much information came at once… Frankly, I’m extremely lucky to have come across a team and a staff like this. I don’t think people realize how demanding it is – I wouldn’t say pressure, but all the demands we have on ourselves every day. We’re always thinking, always wanting to do everything perfectly, and that’s what gives us the boost we need to be better every day”.
