TUOMAS IISALO: “Find the best compromise for the team”

After Saturday’s 85-70 victory over Chalon on Matchday 9 of the Betclic ELITE, our Coach Tuomas Iisalo gave us his vision of management. An enlightening point of view which helps us better understand our club’s success at the start of the season.

“The whole team helps me adjust my management style. I have guys who know how to adapt but also how to discuss what they think is best for the team. When that’s the case, they tell me directly. We always try to find the best compromise for the team. Personalities are also an aspect to be taken into account, and behavior on the pitch can be favorable or unfavorable. My job as a coach is first and foremost to know who you are? We’re human beings, we share every day, we laugh – that’s a big part of our job if we’re to achieve our objectives“, explained Finnish coach Tuomas Iisalo at a press conference on Saturday.
